Belonging does not happen by accident.

As Membership Coordinator for Atlanta’s long-running outdoor organization for gay and bisexual men, I support recruitment, retention, member communications, event development, community partnerships, and preserving WNG’s organizational history through newsletters, meeting records, and photographs. I have also created community partnerships with the Sierra Club’s Atlanta Chapter and Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.

2026 through August: 92 events offered, average attendance of 11, and 78 new members. Current initiatives include new-member hikes, social gatherings, outdoor education partnerships, Pride outreach, and preservation of WNG’s history beginning in 1992.

I support one of Grant Park’s signature neighborhood traditions through content strategy, user experience, WordPress design, ticket and event information, sponsor and vendor communications, analytics, and year-round site maintenance.

The work helps visitors find what they need quickly while making a complex volunteer-led event easier for committee members to manage. Since I began volunteering with the Candlelight Tour, attendance and ticket sales have continued to increase every year.

I design and facilitate workshops that help gay, bisexual, and queer men explore embodiment, authenticity, relationship, meaning, and belonging. My approach combines clear structure with space for reflection, lived experience, and group wisdom.
